Just got an email from Florida State indicating they had just begun looking through apps. Probably not the case, as I know others have already received invitations. But FYI.

Thats what makes this forum so helpful. You know when a department is flat out lying to you.
The wiki table says, for Tulane's AM position, "No (no interviews in Chicago for AM positions)." Does anyone have any information about this? DId something happen to the lines for these AM positions?
Re: Tulane, a friend got an email saying the department will not interview at the meetings for the AM positions, but rather will contact applicants directly after the conference.
I'm on the demand side. I made calls several weeks ago, and have heard from several uncalled applicants since. I have explained to each why we will not interview them (bad fit in each case).
Nevertheless, I have open interview slots, and am open to being convinced that someone I've overlooked really should be interviewed. For that reason, I have not sent "no thank you" e-mails to our non-interviews. I will do that after the meetings.
Its half a day's work at best typing up around 300 email addresses (assuming there are that many applications). I think it is a worthwhile endeavor and shows some courtesy towards candidates. Also, if schools can spend the time sending us affirmative action forms to fill, I am sure they can spend a little more time sending out notices saying that their search is over, or some such.
5:29 - In two weeks, no one will think twice about the fact the places we did not get interveiws with never called us. Probably, that has something to do with the decision not to call. These days and weeks of waiting seem longer than they really are.
Looking for some definite clafirication on IUPUI SPEA (or what was also called their college of public health). Can someone who knows with certainty answer whether those interviews have already been extended.
Drew University has visiting faculty member that fits their labor job ad description perfectly. Does anyone have an idea as to whether or not he is their first choice for the position and whether he is likely to accept if granted an offer.

Speaking of postdocs, did anyone apply from and has now heard from the one at the Collegio Carlo Albert in Turino, Italy with the CHiLD group?
Has anyone heard from Harvard Public Health? If so, could you also please specify when and which opening?

Plus, it's really kind of a pain emailing all the applicants, esp. if some of them are paper applications.
